Keith Wade Dartez

Keith Wade Dartez, 61, departed this world on Friday, August 10, 2012 as the result of injuries received in a car accident that same day.

Keith was born in Lake Charles on June 27, 1951 to the parents of Norman and Helen (Mosca) Dartez. He lived and worked the majority of his life in Lake Charles, where he worked for Chesson Oil Company and for Holston Ambulance Services, then moved to Austin, TX for several years. He returned home to Lake Charles to live with his best friend and father Norman. He worked for L' Auberge Du Lac Casino as a driver. Mr. Dartez was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church where he really enjoyed his volunteer work.

He is survived by his father Norman Dartez, Brother Kirby and wife Sandra Dartez of Lumberton, TX, one niece Kammie Thompson of Moss Bluff, LA, two nephews Zac Dartez of Lumberton, TX., and Jack Dartez of Stanford, CA. numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dartez is preceded in death by his mother Helen Dartez and his grandparents Bee and Mae Long Dartez.

His funeral will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Nannette Cagney will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Sunday at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue at 8:00 AM on Monday until the time of services.
