Kelsey Marie Danes Lummus

Kelsey Marie Danee Lummus, 13, of Sulphur, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, December 4, 2013. Kelsey was crowned Miss Junior Princess at the Moss Bluff Harvest Festival in 2012 and 2013. She was a student at Jake Drost School for Exceptional Children. Kelsey loved the outdoors, especially being around the camp fire. Her love for life and people came out through her wonderful smile and laughter. Kelsey also loved music, her favorite song being Smile by Kirk Franklin. Besides her love for her family, her puppy DJango had a special place in her heart. Left to cherish Kelseys memory are her loving parents, Alexia and Brian Spears, father Eric Miller, along with her sister Kaylee. She is also survived by her grandparents, Glenn and Patsy Lummus and Sydney Joseph. Her great grandparents are Louise Swanson and Willie Mae Arnold. She leaves behind her aunts, Destiny Lummus and Heather Low. Kelseys uncles are Adam Lummus, Eli Guthrie, Zachary Lummus and Cody Spears. She has numerous great aunts and uncles and many cousins.. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 2:00PM. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur with Pastor Brian Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m.
