Kenneth Allen O'Connell

Kenneth Allen O'Connell, 73, of Lake Charles, La died Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in a local hospital. Kenneth was born August 4, 1941 in Anaheim, CA to Raymond and Ida O'Connell. He enjoyed fishing, watching TV, and working in the oil patch. He is survived by five children, Deanna Gragg, Patience Shutts, Carol Olmsted, David O'Connell, and Missy LaRue; fifteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren; and one brother, Michael O'Connell. He is preceded in death by his loving wife; parents; one sister, Carol; and one son, Michael. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Ronnie Estes will officiate services.
