Kenneth Brandt Lake Jr. (K.B.)

Kenneth Brandt Lake Jr.(K.B. or Jack), 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2025. Born on July 30, 1931, to Mattie Catherine Clarke and Kenneth Brandt Lake, K.B. led a life of dedication and service.

K.B. proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War, where he oversaw the medical unit. Throughout his life, he was a remarkable father and a cherished mentor to many. Most will remember K. B. for the ability to make anyone laugh. He loved people, laughter, and Christ.

Those left to cherish Kenneth's memory are daughters, Lana Lake Foster (Charles), Laurey Conway, Lynda Dierker (Larry); brother, Frank Lake (Laney); four grandchildren, Lance, Ricky, Christine, and Zack; two great grandchildren, Benjamin and Penelope.

He is proceeded in death by his wife of 60 years Elizabeth Benoit Lake.

There will be a private burial at Magnolia Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to SW Louisiana Veterans Home in Jennings, LA; Blinded Veterans Association or Cure Alzheimer's Fund or your favorite chairty.
