Kenneth Lee Reynolds, 74, of Lake Charles, LA died at 5:20 AM on Sunday, August 28, 2011 in a local care facility.


Mr. Reynolds was born September 12, 1936 in Lake Charles, LA and was a graduate of Lake Charles High School and McNeese State University. He was employed by the State of Louisiana Department of Social Services for thirty-seven years. He also worked for over two years at Mike D Bono Real Estate. Mr. Reynolds served on several committees for the Greater Calcasieu Board of Realtors and was a former basketball, baseball, and softball official. He also organized the Committee of the Louisiana Fast Pitch Softball Hall of Fame, where he was a founding member. A member of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, he served as an usher, a Eucharistic Minister, and a member of the Parish Council.


Mr. Reynolds is survived by his daughter, Allison Reynolds of Lake Charles; son, Stephen Houston Reynolds and wife Donna of Gillis; and three grandchildren, Karleigh, Kaden, and Konner Reynolds.


His memorial service will be at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Jack Reynolds will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
