Kenneth McFall Thompson, 85 of Sulphur passed away on September 25, 2012 in a local hospital. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 at10 a.m. at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Shirley officiating. A graveside service will be held Friday afternoon at Aimwell Baptist Church Cemetery (Hwy 1215) at 3p.m. in Many, LA with Rev. Billy Wood officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 4-9 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home and will resume on Friday at 8 a.m. until time of service. Kenneth was a native of Horton, KS. He lived in Many, LA for 22 years and recently moved back to Sulphur. He worked for Hercules as a service technician in air conditioning and refrigeration. Kenneth was a member of the Methodist Faith, a member of the Lyons Club and a member of LARC Field. He loved computers, hunting, fishing, camping, model planes and trains. Kenneth is survived by his wife, of 50 years Leona Maxine Burk Thompson of Sulphur; sister, Carol Muck and husband, Dave of Pleasanton, CA; brother-in-laws, Dennis R. Burk Sr. and wife, Sandra of DeRidder, and Robert Eugene Burk and wife, Helen of Sulphur; sister-in-law, Barbara Sue Wright of Sulphur, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nellie Thompson; brother, Colonel John Ray Thompson and sisters, Mary Josephine Bevan and Doris Martin.
