Kenneth Michael "Mickey" Guillory, 68, of Moss Bluff, LA, died at 2:30 PM on Friday, April 10, 2015 in his residence. Mr. Guillory was born December 9, 1946 in Crowley, LA, and was raised in Estherwood, LA. He graduated from Jennings High School and served his country in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Guillory worked in the oil field industry for thirty-eight years, retiring from Halliburton eight years ago. He attended First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff. He was a thirty-second degree Mason. Mr. Guillory enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and riding motorcycles. He had a great sense of humor and loved his wife. Mr. Guillory is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Barbara Dennis Guillory of Moss Bluff; son, Jeremy Guillory of Moss Bluff; step-daughter, Dana Edwards; brother, Craig Guillory and wife Elisa of Lake Charles; sister, Lisa McGrew and husband Jimmy of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Steven Michael Guillory and Trevor Edwards; and his best friend, Paul Buller. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Bertha Guillory; son, Michael "Tony" Guillory; and daughter-in-law, Angela Marie Guillory. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
