Kenneth Ray Marks, 53, of Sulphur passed away on September 30, 2016. He was born in Lake Charles and resided in Sulphur for the last 25 years. Kenneth retired from Entergy having worked as a lineman and serviceman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking and his latest hobby of building crab traps. Kenneth was always his happiest when he was staying busy, and visiting with friends and family. He lived his life to the fullest.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 32 years, Janet Marks of Sulphur; his daughter, Paige Marks of Moss Bluff; his mother, Mildred Marks Arnaud of Sulphur; his two sisters, Judy Kleven and husband Kurt of Westlake and Theresa Stevens and husband Joe of Sulphur; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Marks and his sister, Debra Guillory.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home from 4-9 P.M. with a cursillo rosary at 7 P.M.
Visitation will continue on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 8 A.M. until time of the service.
