Kenneth Thomas Milner

Kenneth Thomas Milner, 64, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 1, 2016.

Kenneth was born on March 18, 1952 in New Orleans, LA to Thomas Wilton and Anna Mary Barbara Milner. He loved gardening, motorcycling, doing leather craft work, and hunting and fishing.

Kenneth was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was an active deputy for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Department where he has been employed for the past 38 years.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memories are his wife of 43 years Karen Addison Milner of Longville, LA; daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Christopher DeMaskey of Dry Creek, LA; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Jared and Deena Milner, Shawn and Angel Milner both of Longville, LA; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Paul Schwarz of San Antonio, TX; 11 grandchildren: Aaron Milner, Cody Milner, Tyler Laurent, Kyle Milner, Tate Laurent, Paden Milner, Olivia DeMaskey, Christapher Milner, Cole Milner, Cooper Milner, and Emma Milner.

Funeral Services will be 10AM Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Smith Officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 1-9PM and Tuesday from 9AM till time of service. Interment to follow in Fletcher Lewis Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
