Kenneth Wayne Thibodeaux

Kenneth Wayne Thibodeaux Sr., 63, of Deweyville, TX died Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. Kenneth was born on November 10, 1952 in Lafayette, LA to George and Agnes Thibodeaux. Kenneth enjoyed being around family and friends. He loved being in the great outdoors, horse racing, and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife, "Patty" Patricia Thibodeaux; seven children, John Wayne LeJeune and wife Kim of Vinton, LA, Peggy Berliew of Deweyville, TX, Bridgette Freeland of Deweyville, TX, John Joseph Thibodeaux of Louisiana, Robert Dwayne Reed and wife Holly of Iowa, LA, Kenneth Wayne Thibodeaux Jr. and wife Amy of Sulphur, LA, and Jeanea Marie Thibodeaux of Lacassine, LA; fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren; seven siblings, Mary L. Parker of Charleston, SC, Chirley A. Thames of Longville, LA, Patricia and husband Gary L. Crosby of Longville, LA, Thomas R. Thibodeaux and wife Donna Thibodeaux of Pasadena, TX, Yvonne M. Guillot and husband Curtis of Laureville, LA, Keith A. Thibodeaux and wife Lovejoy of Lake Charles, LA, and Terry L. Thibodeaux and wife Margaret of Lake Arthur, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son in law, James F. Freeland III "Slugger"; two brothers, John Alfred Thibodeaux and David R. Thibodeaux; and one sister, Thelma Jean Amerson. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. The family would like to express a special word of thanks to John H. Parker, Deacon at Houston River Baptist Church, for sharing kind words and loving memories of Kenneth Wayne Thibodeaux, Sr. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family or the American Cancer Society.
