Kenny Hall Hogan

Kenny Hall Hogan, 63, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 in his home.

He was a lifelong resident of the Lake Charles area. Kenny was a 1976 graduate of Barbe High School where he learned his trade of auto mechanics. This lead to a career in heavy equipment mechanics as well as small engine and tool repair.

Kenny served as a Deacon at Boulevard Baptist Church and later became a member of Community Christian Church. Kenny enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching football. His greatest treasure was his family and time spent with them.

He was welcomed into Heaven by his Savior Jesus Christ, his father Bill Hogan, and mother Jeane Etheridge Hogan. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Helena Courville Hogan, of Lake Charles; one daughter, Beverly Woods (Llewellyn Duhon) of Lake Charles; three sons, Kenneth Hogan (Sarah) of Sulphur, David Hogan (Santana) and Chais Hogan (Callie) both of Lake Charles; two siblings William Etheridge Hogan of Goldonna, LA and Vanessa Faith Hogan of Lake Charles. Kenny has 11 grandchildren, Dashane', Quaylon, Thaddeus, William, Aubrey, Natalya, Darius, Keenan, Trip, DeCota, and Deranee; as well as his beloved dog LuLu.

Memorial service for Kenny Hogan will be Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 1:00 pm at South City Christian Church (323 West Sale Road). Brother David Veillon will officiate. Visitation will be from noon until 1:00 service. Fingerfoods will be served at the church following the service.
