Kevin Gerard Rhame

Kevin Gerard Rhame, 61, of Lake Charles passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 in a local hospital.

Mr. Rhame was born on May 22, 1959 in Lake Charles where he lived all of his life and was a graduate of Barbe High School.  He attended Sowela Technical Institution. Mr. Rhame was a lifelong employee for the local industries. 

He took pleasure in hunting and fishing, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his nieces and nephews and all of his adopted children.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of nearly 35 years, Mimi Rhame of Lake Charles; a brother, Samuel Rhame of Pottstown, PA; his best friend and “adopted brother”, Stephen Duval of Reeves; and numerous in laws, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Francis and Glenevar Rhame.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Lake City Baptist Church.  The Rev. Lonnie Gothrup will officiate.  Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 and continue until the time of the service.
