Kevin Michael May

Kevin Micahel May, 57, of Lake Charles, LA died at 9:50 PM on Thursday, July 19, 2012 in a Lafayette, LA hospital.

Mr. May was born June 21, 1955 in Lake Charles, LA, where he lived most of his life. He attended LaGrange High School and worked as an electrician and foreman for Thermal Insulation / Brock Services. He loved spending time at his camp in Little Chenier, where he fished and hung out with his friends. Mr. May enjoyed helping others and was always very generous. He will always be remembered for the good times spent with his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. May is survived by his daughter, Aimee May of Lake Charles; sister, Lauri May Branch and husband Barclay of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Alyssa Borel and Carson May; niece, Brittany May Bohlman and husband Curtis of Fayetteville, NC; and numerous cousins and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Joseph and Joyce Agnes Wheeldon May; and brother, Brian Patrick May.

His funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 23, 2012 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Chris Fuselier will officiate. Burial will follow in Graceland / Orange Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
