Kham Tanh

Kham Tanh, 57, of Lake Charles passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 in a Natchitoches hospital.

Mr. Tanh was born in Laos and moved to Las Vegas in 1980.  He began his career in the casinos in 1985 and moved to Lake Charles in 1993 to continue his career.  He was currently working at the Golden Nugget Casino as a table game dealer. 

He will be remembered for his willingness to always help others and his contagious smile.  Mr. Tanh was a hard worker and enjoyed being outdoors in his garden.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Dorkeo Khamphanh of Lake Charles; daughter, Phonevilaichit “Tet” Tanh of Las Vegas; step children, Vilasack, Aunoluk, and Viliytong Khamphanh all of Laos; his mother, Moue Manivong of Laos; siblings, Nhoung, Theng, and Thung Manivong all of Laos; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Brow Manivong.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel in Moss Bluff.  Cremation will follow.
