Kim Louise Grannis

Kim Louise Grannis, 63, passed away on January 14, 2023 in Houston, Texas.

She was born on November 24, 1959 in Lake Charles, LA to James Dale Whitehouse and Sharon Louise Bellamy Whitehouse. She will be remembered as a dedicated military wife and mother whose number one priority was taking care of her family. She enjoyed reading books and thrill-seeking adventures. She had a soft spot in her heart for animals and was a pet lover.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 45 years, Bruce Grannis; sons, Gabriel A. Grannis (Emily) and Nathaniel Grannis; grandchildren, Tyler, Seth, Joseph, and Grace; siblings, Sherry Lue, Mike Whitehouse, Keith Whitehouse, and Ron Whitehouse; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Kathi Adams.

Her memorial service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 1 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. until the start of the service. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
