Kim M. Witherwax

Kim Michael Witherwax was born September 12, 1966 in Lake Charles, LA to the late Elbert and Arthurine P. Witherwax . He was the youngest of his five siblings.

He was a fun loving and positive person, this ensured he never met a stranger. He worked as a truck driver for many years until he was forced to medically retire. Though he retired early, he kept a positive spirit and outlook on life, the pain and frustration he felt, never hindered his kind heart and pleasant demeanor.

He loved football, the New Orleans Saints were his favorite team. Fishing brought him much enjoyment and peace, often he would cast the waters hoping to catch the perfect catch, instead often catching those pesky red eared sliders.

He was welcomed into Heaven Friday, December 23, 2022 by his parents; a brother, Nolan Istre; and an uncle, Leonard Hanks.

Those left to cherish his memory, his fiancé Sharon Holden; two daughters, Amy (TJ) Kratzer and Amber Witherwax; one son, Michael Paul Fontenot; two sisters, Becky (Dewey) Holden and Sally Fontenot; one brother, Jeffery Istre; special niece, Hope Ledoux and nephews, Blaine Blanchard and Jace Fontenot; and extended family.
