King Brenton Thompson Lewis

King Brenton Thompson Lewis passed, peacefully, in the arms of his mother on April 18, 2016. He was born at 7:17 a.m. and met the eyes of Jesus at 4:05 p.m. on the same day. During his mother’s pregnancy and his few hours on Earth, he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Brittany Lewis of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Grandparents, Darian Brent Thompson and Rhonda Lewis, both of Lake Charles, Louisiana, three aunts, SheRonda Lewis, Brandi Malbrew, and Octavia Stevens, all of Lake Charles, Louisiana, three uncles, Keithen (Jessica) Thompson, Denzel (Angelle’) Thompson, and Darian Tre’ Thompson, all of Lake Charles, Louisiana, one great-grandmother, Thelma “Liz” Hargrove of Lake Charles, Louisiana, one great-great grandmother, Estella Thompson, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, three great-aunts, Darlene Hooker of Dequincy, Louisiana, Freda (Nathan) Hayes, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Tanya “Tammy” Thompson of Lake Charles, Louisiana, two great-uncles, Joseph Joe Provost and Christopher Lynn Provost, both of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and a host of other relatives.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Castina (Steve) Spears and Arthur Thompson.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Prien/Highland Memorial Park. Elder Michael Cuba Jr. will officiate.
