Kirk Anthony Dugas, Sr., 55, departed this life on Saturday, June 2, 2012 in Iowa, LA.
He was a lifelong native of Iowa and graduated from Iowa High School in 1979. Mr. Dugas worked for the co-op for 20 years and the next ten years as head cook at various restaurants, creating delightful recipes that remain in place today. Brother Kirk lead three generations of amazing choirs, played several instruments, and performed at many area churches, programs, and events.

He would help anyone without a question, no job too hard or tiring, day or night, for Kirk A.K.A. MacGyver. He left us in the peak of his life, doing what he does best, "helping others". He will be missed and remembered always.
