Kory Tyson Crowell

Kory Tyson Crowell, 12, of Lake Charles, passed away, Friday, November 18, 2011 in his residence.

Kory was a life long resident of Lake Charles and a 7th grade student at Hamilton Christian Academy. He was a member of Boulevard Church of Christ.

Kory is survived by his parents, Kasey and Janice (Tyson) Crowell; his brother and sister, Kobe and Kara Crowell; Paternal Grandmother, Colleen Crowell; Maternal Grandparents, Barney and Eileen Tyson; Maternal Great Grandparents, Murphy and Ruth Tyson and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister, Kasey Sue Crowell and grandfather, Robert "Bob" Crowell.

Kory's Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, at Hamilton Christian Academy (Gymnasium). Jacob Hance and Ben Treme will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation on Sunday will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM in the funeral home and continue from 9:00 AM until time of services at Hamilton Christian Academy.

In Lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to the Kory Tyson Crowell Scholarship Fund at Hamilton Christian Academy.
