Koy Trosclair, Sr, 82, of Webster, Tx, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013, in a Texas care facility surrounded by his family. Koy was born in New Gulf, Tx. in 1931 to Norbert and Amelia Trosclair. Koy was raised in Sulphur, La. Koy served his country as a Marine in the Marine Air Wing, Fighter Squadron 531 during the Korean Conflict. After his service, he worked as an operator for the Texas-Gulf Sulphur Company. He was known for his great sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh. Koy enjoyed working in his yard and was able to make anything grow , Koys family was the love of his life. Koy is survived by four children: daughters, Leeanna Porter and husband Keith of League City, Tx., and Rita Bailey of Vinton, La,; sons, Koy Edward Trosclair, Jr. of San Antonio, Tx, and Edward Tony Trosclair and wife Kristie of Tomball, Tx.; and one brother Lawrence Trosclair and wife Frances of Sulphur, La. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Koy is preceded in death by his wife of 39 years Cecile Agnes Trosclair, his parents, Norbert and Amelia Trosclair along with five brothers and four sisters. Visitation will be held at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home on Monday, August 19, from 5-9PM. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 20 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
