Kyle Matthew Sockwell

Kyle Matthew Sockwell, 29, passed away on March 19, 2018. Kyle cherished his time with his wife and children. He was a great dad and husband and enjoyed every moment with his family and friends. He was easy going and a momma’s boy who loved playing pranks on people. Kyle enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, frogging, and barbeques. He was also known as the “lighter thief”.

Kyle is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Rachel Sockwell; his 2 children, Kaden and Kolby Sockwell; 8 siblings, Lawrence Courmier II, Chad Sockwell, Raymond Sockwell, Gene Sockwell, Brian Sockwell, Gina Rae Koterba, Marsha Sockwell Cox, and Gina Sky Burnstein; his loving mother, Carla Courmier and Chris Binford; his grandparents, Larry and Joyce Dodson; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Courmier and best friend, Justin Porter.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 PM Monday, March 26, 2018 at Johnson Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Monday from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines North Cemetery on Jim Pickens Road. Rev. Marcus Wade will officiate services.

 In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
