L.M. "Pat" Patton

L.M. “Pat” Patton, 82, of Sulphur passed away on July 24, 2017 in a local hospital. He was born in 1935 in Borger, TX. and served in the U S Coast Guard for 30 years retiring as a Commander. He enjoyed woodworking, walking his dog, and liked to ride around town with his wife in his white Silverado truck.

L.M. is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Helen Patton of Sulphur; 3 children, David Patton and wife Joan of Gholson, TX, Brenda Patton and partner Glenn Fahl of Bellaire, TX, and Andrew “Andy” Patton and wife Cathy of Sulphur; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Louie Patton and Ethel Lee Patton; and 8 siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 2 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ellen Alston officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home and will resume on Friday, July 28 at 1 P.M. until time of the service.
