Larry Charles Jones

Larry Charles Jones, 62 of Sulphur passed away on November 22, 2013 in a local hospital. Larry was a family man and loved family gathering. He enjoyed cooking, especially gumbo and bar-b- ques. Larry retired from Conoco as an operator after 31 years of service. Larry is survived by his daughter, Kristi Trahan and husband, Justin of Sulphur; son, Kevin Jones and wife, Desiree of DeQuincy; 4 grandchildren, Brice, Blair, Graysen and Taylor; mother, Virginia Jones; 3 brothers, Lynn Jones and wife, Carolyn of Dallas, TX, Alan Jones and wife, Gail of Maryland and Don Jones of Sulphur. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Jones. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Holder officiating. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 1p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and will resume on Monday at 9 a.m. until time of the service.
