Larry J. Comeaux, 63 of Sulphur passed away on June 14, 2013 in his residence. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 10a.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial will be in Abshire Cemetery at 1:30p.m. in Crowley, LA under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 16, 2013 from 5-9 p.m. with a rosary at 6p.m. and will resume visitation on Monday at 9 a.m. until time of the service. Larry was a native and a life-long resident of Sulphur. He worked on Strategic Petroleum Reserves as a pipefitter foreman for L.S. Womack Construction of Baton Rouge. Larry loved fishing, hunting, was a people person and loved children. Larry is survived by his mother, Elda Rea of Sulphur; two brothers, Ray Comeaux and wife, Shirley of DeQuincy and Floyd Comeaux and wife, Charlotte of Sulphur; sister, Esther Mae Howard and husband, Jack of San Antonio, TX; 2 half-brothers, Mike Comeaux of Sulphur and Amos Comeaux Jr. and wife, Karen of Toledo Bend; half-sister, Cindy Chession and husband, Craig of Welsh, LA and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Amos Comeaux.
