Larry Joseph Richard

Larry Joseph Richard, 69, of Sulphur passed away on February 1, 2018 in a local hospital. He was of the Catholic faith, enjoyed bingo, and spending time with his family, nieces and nephews. Larry is survived by his two sisters, Carolyn Lacomb and husband “B.O.” of Sulphur and Sonja Couch and husband Kerry of Carlyss; his brother-in-law, “Herb” O’Quinn; nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Jeff, Richard, and Greg O’Quinn, Robin and Josue Martin, Kelly and Ronnie Burnworth, Nikea Richard and longtime partner, Patrick Mouton, Dustin Richard, and Kaysi and Adam Duplantis; and 29 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Augustine and Nola Richard; his brother, Harry Richard; his sister, Deanna O’Quinn; and his niece-in-law, Laura O’Quinn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Andrews Kollannoor, M. S. officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at 1 P.M. in Rayne, LA under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 4, 2018  from 3-9 P.M. with a Cursillo Rosary at 6 P.M.at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur. Visitation will continue on Monday, February 5, at 8 A.M. until time of leaving for the church.
