Larry Paul Goudeau died on Sunday, December 31, 2017 in a local hospital. Larry was born on April 19, 1958 to Clyde and Aline Goudeau. Larry was an avid outdoorsman all his life. He truly enjoyed all that “Sportsman’s Paradise” has to offer including fishing and hunting for both ducks and deer. He would also frequently travel to Alabama to deer hunt with his extended family.
He worked as a Laborer, Boilermaker and Operator at Citgo in a career spanning 20+ years. When he was not at work, one of his hobbies was training dogs to work as retrievers for duck hunting. After his career at Citgo, Larry got his Private Investigators license, and worked for a few years in this field, which he loved.
Larry Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Aline Goudeau.
He leaves behind his daughter, Elizabeth Lyons and husband Scott of Lake Charles; two Grandchildren, Wes and Lucy Lyons; two sisters, Theresa Ardoin and husband Frank of Round Rock Texas and Jennifer Thibodeaux of Lake Charles. Larry also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, Branden Ardoin, Jillian Ardoin, Lindsey Ardoin, Kristen Thibodeaux and Ryan Thibodeaux.
His furry friends Patty, Cooper and Sarah Lee will miss him greatly.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 03, 2018 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Anthony Pousson will officiate. A gathering of family and friends Wednesday will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home with a rosary being recited prior to services.
