Larry "Pete" Chesson

Larry “Pete” Bob Chesson, 77, of Sulphur, LA passed away on June 12, 2022 in a local hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur and a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. “Pete” was employed by PPG since 1968, he loved his children and grandchildren, and was an avid pet lover.  “Pete” enjoyed gardening, was a New Orleans Saints fan, a little stubborn at times but a true friend to all who knew him. Many years ago he also, volunteered as a fireman and a policeman. He loved his nurses at Cornerstone and will be missed by all.

“Pete” is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Chesson; son, Curtis Allen Chesson (Joan); daughter, Tami Chesson Wolf (Eric); grandson, Ryan Allen Chesson (Kristain); 2 great grandsons, Carter and Cannon Chesson; grandchildren, Josh and Jason LaBove and William and Anna Wolf; and 2 sisters, Linda Reon and Nina Abshire (Brian). He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Henry, Clifford and Clarence Chesson; and 2 sisters, Hazel Hoffpauir and Lilly Hampton; and a brother-in-law, Tommie.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 2 P.M. at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. Visitation will be held at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 10 A.M. till 1:30 P.M.
