Larry Bruce Spell

Larry Bruce Spell, 86, of Sulphur, LA passed away on January 12, 2025. Bruce was born on November 29, 1938, in Indian Bayou, LA to Bruce "Blue" and Shirley Spell. Bruce enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed traveling, camping on the river, and riding in the golf cart with family. Bruce worked for Alcoa for 35 years and loved working cattle with dear friends.

Those left to cherish his loving memory are his wife of 35 years; Evelyn Spell; children, Blaine Spell, Terri and Greg Pavlovich, Mark and Mary Spell; Cindy and Darrell Cradeur; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Jane Nelson and Charlotte and Joe Goodfriend; sister in law, Martha Lou Spell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jimmy Dean Spell; one son, Dennis McKnight Jr.; and one granddaughter, Santana Miller.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services on Wednesday at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Pastor Steve Avery will be officiating services.
