Leanna Broussard

Leanna Broussard, 85, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017 in Breaux Bridge, LA.  Leanna loved to live off the land.  Her hobbies included shrimping, crabbing, fishing, trapping, alligator hunting and gardening.  Leanna was a lifelong member of 1st Baptist Church of Johnson Bayou.  

Leanna is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Eli Broussard of Hackberry; three children, Phyllis Ann Carouthers, June Kathleen Mulrey and Theresa Knott; her sisters, Georgie, Linda, Faye and Elaine; her brothers, Carroll and Ted; and numbers loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, William Glenn Broussard; and two brothers, Armand Trahan and Nathan Trahan. 

Services for Leanna will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10 AM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur.  Burial will be in Head of the Hollow Cemetery in Johnson Bayou.  The family will receive friends on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 4-9 PM at the funeral home and will resume on Saturday  from 8 am until the time of service.
