Leeferd Peter Breaux, Sr.

Leeferd Peter Breaux Sr., 85, of Sulphur, LA died on November 22, 2023, in a local care facility.

Leeferd was born on January 24, 1938, in Morse, LA to Clarence and Evela Breaux. He loved bingo, wrestling, and collecting car books. Leeferd enjoyed being around friends and family visiting and was a truck driver all his life. Leeferd was a member of Our Lady of Lasalette Catholic Church.

He is survived by his 4 children, Leeferd Peter Breaux Jr. and wife Kathy, Stephanie Vincent and husband Robert Lebouef, Jennifer Breaux, and Eric Breaux and wife Josie; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and two siblings, Robert Breaux and Stutes LeBlanc.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Pearl Breaux.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM Monday, November 27, 2023, at Our Lady of Lasalette Catholic Church. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at 4:30 PM unit 8 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with a rosary being prayed at 6 PM. Visitation will be from 8 AM until 9:45 AM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home on Monday, November 27, 2023. Burial will be at Bigwoods Cemetery with Fr. John Welch will officiate services.
