Lena Marie Herrington

Lena Marie McFarlain Herrington, 87 of Sulphur passed away on October 9, 2015 in a local care center. She was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur. Lena was an artist and enjoyed needlepoint, reading and her flowers. Lena is survived by her son, James Herrington and wife Azumi of Japan; her two granddaughters, Aaliyah Mei and Abigail Marie Herrington of Japan; her sister, Betty Turner; her two brothers, Jerome McFarlain, Jr. and Alvin McFarlain; her friend and former spouse, James Delano Herrington; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 4 brothers. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Father Andrews Kollannoor, M.S. officiating. Burial will be held in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 5-9 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 9 A.M. at the funeral home until time of the service.
