Leo Paul Duhon, 91, of Sweetlake, LA died at 8:15 AM Monday, June 25, 2012 in a Veterans Home in Jennings, Louisiana.
Mr. Duhon was born in Sweetlake, Louisiana on July 10, 1920 to the parents of Amia and Cornelia Duhon. He was a lifelong resident of the Sweet Lake area. Mr. Duhon was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
Mr. Duhon is survived by one son Howard Duhon of Grand Lake, LA, two grandchildren Benjamin Duhon and wife Summer, and Mathew Duhon and wife Melissa, two great grandchildren, Priscilla Annevaeh Duhon and Mia Grace Duhon.
Mr. Duhon is preceded in death by his parents, Ina Duhon, Pearl Mallet, Lovina Broussard, Cliffert Duhon, Della Mae Richard, John A Duhon, George H. Duhon, Clyde H. Duhon, one daughter Priscilla Duhon.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Rev. John Huckaby will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Scripture Service and Rosary at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM.
