Leona Paul McGraw, 85, of Lake Charles passed away at 2:06 AM, Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in a local hospital. Mrs. McGraw was a native of Kerens, TX and has lived in Lake Charles for the past thirteen years. She worked for many years at the old Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and wanted everyone she knew to love Him too. Mrs. McGraw was a graduate of Kerens High School, and was a majorette in the band during her high school years and loved the memories she made there. Mrs. McGraw was the youngest of her ten brothers and sisters. She loved her big family and had many nieces and nephews she loved to keep in touch with through the years. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Paula McGraw Brame and husband Guy of Lake Charles; six grandchildren, Jason McGraw and wife Candice, Tara Shetler and husband Michael, Evan Comeaux and wife Lindsey, Tressa Comeaux, Traci Greene and husband Justin, and Briana Brame; and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Bill E. McGraw and son Mike McGraw. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday, December 26 in the funeral home. Her graveside service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Kerens Cemetery in Kerens, TX officiated by Bro. Wes Johnson under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
