Leroy Joseph Domingue

Leroy Joseph Domingue, 88, passed away on May 7, 2020 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and helped established St. Paul DeVincent Society at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Leroy worked for Addressograph-multigraph for 30 years. He proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Leroy enjoyed driving and traveling around the U S and Canada, fishing, camping and boating. He loved his grandchildren, great grandchildren, his great-great grandchildren and was a caregiver and god parent to many of his family members.

Leroy is survived by his three children, Ellen Gorum of Carlyss; David Domingue and wife Shiela  of Carlyss and Michael Foster and wife Wanda of Mora, New Mexico; 10 grandchildren, Eddie Dehart of Bernalillo, NM, Robert Gross of Albuquerque, NM, Roger Foster and wife Melinda of Bernalillo, NM, Amy C-D’e Baco and husband Paul of Bernalillo, NM, Chris Domingue and wife Liz of Lake Charles, Laurie Hatten and husband Steve of Carlyss, Crystal Domingue of Sulphur, Brian Domingue and wife Danielle of Ragley, Clint Domingue of Lake Charles and Heather Gorum of Carlyss; 24 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren, his great grandson, Tommy Gorum now 8 years old that lived with his since birth and has been his buddy since birth; brother, U J Domingue; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Laverne Domingue; parents, Leo and Lela May Domingue; daughter, Darla McCary; grandson, Tim DeHart;2 sisters, Genevieve Armer and Maryann Quibodeaux.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 11, 2020 at 1 P.M. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss with only 10 people being present with Father Luke Krzanowski, M.S. officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
