Leslie “Tobe” O’Quain, 47, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 in his home surrounded by his family. Tobe was a lifelong resident of Sulphur. He was a truck driver, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding bulls. Tobe was loved by all who knew him and was a father to many young adults.

Tobe is survived by his wife of 18 years, Amanda O’Quain of Sulphur; his children, Braxton Wishart, Clinton O’Quain, Shaia O’Quain, Logan O’Quain, Clint Wishart, Dillion Wishart, Edward O’Quain, Elizabeth Kile, Triston Clark, Brennon Casteel, and Robert Penn,II; 2 grandchildren, Maison O’Quain and Chloee Heaton; brother, Phillip O’Quain, Jr.; 2 sisters, Betty Jean Lantier and Betty Ann O’Quain; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Ovile O’Quain, Sr.; and his brother, Terry “Coon” O’Quain.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 10 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ellen Alston officiating. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 4-9 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation continuing on Wednesday, September 20 at 8 A.M. until time of the service.
