Lilah M. Mcclain

Lilah Mae Myers McClain, 89, of Lake Charles, passed away at a local care facility, Saturday, April 5, 2014. Lilah was born December 28, 1924 in New Philadelphia, Ohio to Harry & Sarah Walters Myers and lived in Ohio until moving to Lake Charles in 2000. Mrs. McClain is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Arthur McClain; brothers, Paul, Herman, Carl & Raymond Myers; and sisters, Edna Myers Wemple and Mary Myers Kerns. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and David Beningo of Lake Charles; sister-in-law, Wanda McClain, Mt. Vernon, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at South City Christian Church, 323 W. Sale Road, Lake Charles from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. A short memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM. Rev. Robby Bacon will officiate services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
