Lillian Rita Courville

Lillian Rita Mott Courville, 88, of Lake Charles, LA died at 12:20 AM on Friday, January 18, 2013 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Courville was born February 25, 1924 in Martin, MS and lived in Lake Charles for the past 73 years. She married Isom Courville, Sr. on October 14, 1939 and they were united for 49 years. Together they owned and operated Courville's Painting and Contracting in the lake area for 35 years. Mr. Courville passed away on December of 1987. Mrs. Courville was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.

She was a full time mother of 4 and wife, devoted to her family. Mrs. Courville was full of spirit and had love for everyone she met. She will be remembered for her unique character, her optimistic personality, and her generosity. She had a passion for reading, children and animals.

A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at St. Margaret

Catholic Church. The Rev. Bill Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Garden Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Tuesday in the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM. A reflection hour will be held at 5:00 PM with Rev. Linda Pickett officiating. Visitation will continue on Wednesday in the funeral home from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM.
