Lillie Ann Guillory Spoor, 90, of Bossier City, LA died at 8:30 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2011 in a care facility.
Mrs. Spoor was born February 15, 1921 in Mamou, LA, and lived in Lake Charles for almost fifty years, before moving to the Bossier City / Shreveport area seventeen years ago. She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing and gardening and will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and as a prayer warrior.
Mrs. Spoor is survived by her son, Jerry Spoor and wife Linda of Leesville, LA; daughters, Sharon Spoor, Nadine Owen and husband Richard, all of Shreveport; brothers, James Guillory of Bossier City, LA and Ray Guillory of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Kevin Spoor, Tricia Rozas, Julie Spoor, Pam Jett, and Mark Rozas; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Spoor; daughter, Sarah Rozas; three brothers; and five sisters.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Dan Landry will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
