Lilly Sittig

July 28, 1943 — April 26, 2022

Lilly Ann “Annie” Sittig of Sulphur, LA, was born on July 28, 1943, to Eraste and Zelma Billedeaux.  Annie was a graduate of Marion High School and a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church.

Besides working outside the home in many capacities, her greatest passion and talent in life was being a homemaker, cooking, and feeding the souls of all she loved with her extraordinary gift of conversation in either the English or French language.  She had an unwavering and unconditional need to nurture anyone she came in contact with – she never met a stranger.

She peacefully passed in the arms of her beloved family on April 26, 2022.  Survivors include her spouse of 59 years, Fred Sittig, Jr.; Children: Raymond (Jodie) Sittig, Kenny (Alicia) Sittig, Barbara (Jim) Allee, and Aaron (Donna) Sittig; an enormous host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as Granny; sister, Alice Billedeaux; as well as so many other names of extended family which are impossible to include.

Memorial services for Annie will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022, at 1 PM at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church with Father Terry Niziolek, M.S. officiating.  Visitation for Annie will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home from 10 AM until time to leave for the church.  A Cursillo rosary will be said at 11 AM.

The family would like to extend special thanks and appreciation to the dedicated staff of Heart of Hospice Southwest, Moss Bluff, for the amazing care provided.
