Linda Ann Morris Demary

Linda Ann Morris Demary, 71, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 17, 2022 in her home.

Linda was born in Lake Charles, LA, on February 4, 1951 to Howard Dean and Lena Angela Basone Morris.  Linda graduated from Lake Charles High School in 1969 and attended McNeese State University.  Linda married Reginald “Reggie” Duane Demary on June 1, 1982.  She had many loves in her life, that included her three children, three grandchildren, and her loving husband of forty years.

Linda was a member of Glad Tidings Church in Lake Charles.  She enjoyed reading, taking walks alongside her husband, and spending time with her grandkids, who affectionately knew her as Granny.

Linda is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Reggie; daughters, Kimberley Anne Miller Trahan (Donny) and Kristy Renee Demary; son, Kent Brandon Demary; grandsons, Evan Shane Miller and Nickolas Cade Hebert; granddaughter, Linsey Michelle Hebert; and three brothers, Patrick, Richard, and Robert Morris.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her oldest brother, Michael Morris.

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home.  Reverend Gary Evers will officiate.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 PM until the start of the service.
