Linda Ann Vangossen

Linda Ann VanGossen, 59 of Sulphur passed away on April 22, 2013 in her residence. Linda was a very giving person and loved making things, then giving them away to people she loved. Especially quilts, ring pillows, cakes and many other crafts. She loved her family, especially her three grandchildren. Linda was always happy and the life of the party, never meeting a stranger. Linda is survived by her daughter, Jean Landry and husband, Bobby of Boerne, TX; David Deere of Carlyss with whom she spent the last 13 years; three grandchildren, Devin and Austin Landry of Boerne, TX and Jersey Deere of Orange, TX; sister, Eleanor Dee Tenney; brother, Earl Vidrine both of Thibodeaux; and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; Elgin Lawrence and Della Mae Wheeler. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Robison Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Cavenah officiating. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery in Sulphur under the direction to Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home and will resume on Wednesday at 8 a.m. until time of service.
