Linda Burch

Linda Burch, 69, of DeQuincy, passed away in her home on Saturday, December 11, 2021.

Linda loved working in her yard planting flowers and trees; she enjoyed taking care of her plants and was known for her “green thumb.”  She also loved decorating and watching reality shows. Most important to Linda was her faith in Jesus Christ and her family. She found the best in everyone and would never speak badly about a person.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 27 years, William “Bill” Burch of DeQuincy; four siblings, Deborah Derouen, Susie Cartwright, Ronald Draper, and Archie Draper (Leslie); grandchildren, Preslie Nichols, Kylie Nichols, and Preston Nichols; great grandson, Logan Scott; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her “chosen daughter” Kandy Nichols; grandson, Charlie Higginbotham; and her parents, Luke and June Draper.

Funeral services honoring Linda’s life will be held at 1pm, Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Johnson & Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur. Burial will follow at 2:30pm in Liberty Cemetery of Elton. Visitation will be 10am – 1pm Wednesday in the Funeral home.
