Linda Faye Hutchins

Linda Faye Garland Hutchins, 66, of Moss Bluff, LA, died at 6:45 PM on Monday, May 11, 2015 in a local hospital. Mrs. Hutchins was born February 14, 1949 in Lake Charles, LA and has lived all of her life in the Lake Charles area. She attended Second Ward High School in Lake Charles and worked for sixteen years as a driver for Lake Charles Sling. She enjoyed cooking, but her passion in life was for her family. Mrs. Hutchins is survived by her sons, John LaFleur and wife Mona and Chris LaFleur and wife Laura, all of Moss Bluff; step-daughter, Julia Ann Hutchins Smith and husband Mike of Lake Charles; brother, Joseph Garland, Jr. and wife Janet of Alabama; sisters, Lena Dorden of Westlake, LA, Norma Deason of Topsy, LA and Kim Miller of Minnesota; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Hutchins; and parents, Estelle and Joseph Garland, Sr. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Ronnie Estes will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
