Linda Fruge Milton

Linda Fruge Milton, 68, peacefully passed from this life on Sept. 14, 2017 at home in Sulphur, LA.  She was born on Dec. 28, 1948 in Lake Charles and grew up in Sulphur.  A 1966 graduate of Sulphur High School, she is survived by: her devoted husband, Jim Milton; her sons, David (Edith) Soulier of Gonzales, LA and Ryan (Maggie) Soulier of Denton, TX; granddaughters, Cameron, Zoe, Grace, Audrey and Caroline.  She is survived by siblings, Houston Fruge, Jr., Jerry Fruge, LaDonna Shiflett, Lonnie Fruge, Evelyn Newman and Jim Fruge.  She has numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Houston Sr. and Verna Mae Fruge.  Linda was a loyal member of First Baptist Sulphur, a faithful wife, a loving Mother, a Christ follower and the best Nana a granddaughter could ask for.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11 A.M. at First Baptist Church of Sulphur with Doctor David Holder and Pastor Michael Linton officiating. Burial will be on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 10 A.M. in Oakland Cemetery in Trenton, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 4-8 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral and will resume on Tuesday, September 19 at 9 A.M. at First Baptist Church of Sulphur until time of the service.
