Linda Gail Hulse

Linda Gail Hulse, 70, of Moss Bluff passed away at 6:11 PM on Monday, February 17, 2025 in her son's residence surrounded by her four children.

Mrs. Hulse was born on September 21, 1954, in Evansville, Indiana, where she was raised until moving to New Iberia, Louisiana, where she spent the majority of her life. Three years ago, she moved to Moss Bluff to be closer to family.

In her earlier years, Mrs. Hulse found joy in fishing with her children. Above all, family and friends meant the world to her. She was known for her kind and loving nature, always ready to visit with those she cared for. She especially enjoyed listening to music, a hobby that brought her much happiness.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jeff Groves (Sandie), Shannon Brack (Rodney), Jennifer Dunn, and Michael Dunn (Becky); siblings, Rebecca Copsy, Donna Jones (Jimmy), Theresa Stokes (Wayne), Larry Groves (Bridget), and Sharon Rush; and seven grandsons, eight granddaughters, and twenty-one great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Hulse; parents, L.T. and Lila Groves; sister, Karen Potts; brothers-in-law, Allen Rush and Daniel Copsy; and a nephew, Larry Thomas Groves.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Lone Star Baptist Church, 781 Lone Star Church Rd., Pitkin, LA 70656. Pastor Byron Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home chapel in Moss Bluff. Visitation will resume on Friday at the church from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
