Linda Kay Hinchee

Linda Kay Hinchee, 63, of Port Charlotte, FL., passed away at her Lake Charles residence, Tuesday, December 31, 2013. She was a native of Decatur, IL and lived in Lake Charles for seventeen years prior to moving to Port Charlotte, FL in September of 2012. She was a graduate of Central Illinois University. Survivors include her husband, Doug Hinchee; two daughters, Laura Gorecki and Sarah Nichols; one son, Christopher James Harshman and wife Tennile; her stepson, Christopher Douglas Hinchee and wife Sarah; daughter-in-heart, Tara Hoover; ten grandchildren, Jeremy, Austin, Zachery, Nicole, Jordon, Jonathan, Branden, Abbeygayle, Brianna, and Olivia; special friends, Carleen Hebert, Paula Fruge, Hazel Green, Linda Granger, Jean LaFleur, and SCMC Douglas Leppert. A gathering of friends and family will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Women's Shelter or the Charity of Choice.
