Linda Louise Thompson

Linda Louise Thompson, 74, of Carlyss, passed from this life with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. She was born in Jennings and moved to Sulphur as a child. Linda was a 1967 graduate of Sulphur High School. She also attended Sowela Technical Community College. Linda worked at AT&T as an operator and retired from Isle of Capri after 15 years of service. She loved to crochet and enjoyed baking. Linda was saved at Vincent Baptist Church as a young lady. She was very quiet and enjoyed being at home.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Christopher Thompson; grandson, Skylar Burns; brother, Harold Sheumaker (Mary); sister Kathy Robichaux; nieces and nephews, Faye and Billy Davault, Tripp and Annette Sheumaker, Miram Erickson (Roger), Michael Robichaux, Thomas Robichaux, Lydia Robichaux; great niece and nephew, Bryan Westlund, Kyran Sheumaker, Dylan, Nathaniel, and Trinity LeJeune, Daniel Robichaux; great-great nieces and nephews, Be-La, Morgan, Bowen, and Ryley.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Robert Thompson; her parents, Harold T and Mary Jeanette Sheumaker; brother, Charles William Sheumaker.

A memorial in Linda’s memory will be held at Vincent Baptist Church on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 10 AM.
