Linda M. Webster

Linda M. Webster, 67, of Sulphur died at 7:38 AM on Monday, February 20, 2012 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Webster was born on December 16, 1944 in New Orleans, LA. She was a teacher's aide at Sulphur High School. Mrs. Webster was a member of First Baptist Church of Westlake.

Those left to cherish her memory are two children, Frederick "Freddy" Webster, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Sulphur and Tavia Nelson of New Orleans; a brother, Robert Marcantel of Denham Springs, LA; and five grandchildren, Brennan and Heidi Webster, Megan Nelson, and Katie and Amber Webster.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and Charlie Marcantel, Sr. and a brother, Charlie Marcantel, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 24, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Wayne McEntire will officiate. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
