Linda Mae Langley

October 14, 1946 — November 9, 2011

Linda Mae Langley, 65, of LeBleu Settlement passed away at 4:06 PM, Wednesday, November 9, 2011 in her residence.


She was a native and lifelong resident of the Iowa/LeBleu Settlement area and a 1964 graduate of Iowa High School. Mrs. Langley was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was a longtime member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.


She is survived by her two sons, Brandon Lane and Damon Lee Langley; one granddaughter, Ariane Langley; two brothers, Charles Morgan and wife Patty Gean, and Gordon Morgan and one sister, Betty Brashear and husband Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband Sherman Lee Langley; her parents, Hiram A. and Mable (Breaux) Morgan and one brother, Fredrick Morgan.


Her funeral will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 12, 2011 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Bill Miller will officiate. Burial will be in LeBleu Cemetery in Chloe. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM and continue Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service in the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Buller, Kevin LaBiche, Thomas Brashear, John Brashear, Mike Hebert, and Freeman Turner.

Special thanks from the family to Southern Home Health, Brighton Bridge Hospice, her sitters, and all the special family and friends that helped with her care.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the American Lung Association.
