Linda Gail Miller

Linda Gail Miller, 76, passed away peacefully Friday, November 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 28, 1948, to Delphine Chapman Miller and Andreas Miller.

Linda worked for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office and retired after 30 years of service. Linda loved music and traveling with the mountains being her favorite destination. Linda was looking forward to the birth of her first great grand daughter who she named "Butter Bean."

Those left to cherish her memory are son, Shannon Smith (Sherry); daughter, Regina "Gina" Smith; grandchildren, Colin Smith (Makayla) and Abigail Smith.

She is proceeded in death by her parents; brother, Harwin Miller; sisters, Deola Marks and Jean Johnson.

A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St. Lake Charles, LA 70605) at 6:00pm Tuesday December 3, 2024. Visitation will begin at 3:00pm and continue to time of services. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
